There’s a bunch of different food options to choose from when traveling to Universal Orlando Resort Epic Universe. Pizza Moon is a great option to choose for a quick bite.

When we visited the park in November 2025, we ducked into Pizza Moon towards the end of the day for dinner. Previously reported, we had lunch at Das Stakehaus — which we really enjoyed — and Pizza Moon also delivered.

An Epic day!

Last year’s trip to Epic Universe was our first visit to the new park. The theme park is arranged similar to a hub-and-spoke design. The main thoroughfare and hub is called Celestial Park. Guests coming in choose a left or right path around the first body of water in the park. Theming of Celestial Park is considered cosmic and is also home to three attractions and 14 restaurants/food kiosks.

The lands spoke off from areas around the other two centrally-located bodies of water. Those lands are Super Nintendo World™, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Ministry of Magic™, and How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk.

Pizza Moon is one of the 14 places to grab food in the Celestial Park section of the park. It’s located slightly South-West from the Constellation Carousel, on the left artery from the main entrance. The entrance to Super Nintendo World™ is right around the corner from Pizza Moon.

What’s the deal with Pizza Moon?

Pizza Moon is considered one of Epic Universe’s quick-service dining locations. It has the similar hybrid approach to serving and ordering that Das Steakehaus has as well as the Harry Potter-themed restaurants have at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios proper.Food and drinks are ordered via a virtual menu while seated at your table. The menu you access via your own mobile device. Ordering of food is supported by wait staff who will also bring you your food and help with any allergy issues you might have.

“Turns out the moon really is made of cheese… and pepperoni,” the Pizza Moon information page says. “Gather your group and blast off to Pizza Moon in Celestial Park, an early 1900s Victorian theater converted into a spectacular eatery where the finest pizzas in Universal Epic Universe are prepared. From a basic cheese pie to the works, every pizza deserves a standing ovation.”

The menu

Pizza Moon is open for lunch and dinner and there’s only one menu. However, that menu is actually quite extensive for a pizza joint.

There are seven different artesian brick-oven pizzas that are offered — eight if you include plain which is not on the menu. For other dishes, there are three baked pasta dishes and two different salads. Pizza Moon has a host of alcoholic beverages,  Coke Freestyle machines for soft drinks, and two dessert selections.

Readers of TSRs know we’re crazy about Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines. If you’re new to the site, welcome! And, we’re crazy about Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines.

If you’re looking for a soft drink at Pizza Moon, the bank of machines is where you’ll find them.

Our trip to Pizza Moon

Our Epic Universe day was winding towards an end and we were ready for a second meal. Lunch we ended up having at Das Stakehaus and it was filling and satisfying, but it was feeding time again. Haggard and looking tempest tossed, we lumbered into Pizza Moon. We figured it’d be a good semi-lite bite. For this food selection, we didn’t want anything over the top.

Our seating location was a nice table towards the back of the restaurant. It was close enough to where we could see the pizza oven and we were plenty close to those glorious Freestyle machines.

What’d we order?

We ended up getting two pizzas. One that I shared with the fairest of my roommates and the other for our junior adventurer. I also shared a Caesar salad with my better half — the Moon Cheese™ Caesar.

The pizzas are not huge — 12 inches. They advertise the pizzas to be able to serve two people. Really, they can serve two people if they’re not going all Mardi Gras.

The Moon Cheese™ Caesar salad was a fairly standard Caesar. There wasn’t anything that stood out about it; overall it was not a bad salad. It was big enough for us to share and still have room for our pizza.

Plain pizza

There isn’t actually a plain pizza on the menu but that’s what we got for our youngest travel companion. The closest thing on the menu is the Pizza Moon Pepperoni which comes with “tomato sauce, fromage de lune, [and] pepperoni.”

Pizza Lunare

The Pizza Lunare was a nice twist on what you can do with a pizza. In 2026 there’s no lack of artesian or specialty pizzas out there. A good friend of mine might call them “adult pizzas.” I mean, when I think of adult pizza I’m not sure if my mind goes to barbeque chicken pizza or somewhere else, but that’s a digression. This so-called adult pizza was a great option.

What’s the Pizza Lunare? The pizza comes with “roasted garlic béchamel, fromage de lune, ricotta, pancetta, garlic confit, [and is on a] purple celestial ube crust.” These were delightful flavor profiles and the pizza was cooked perfectly.

Overall experience

The ambiance is great at Pizza Moon. The service is great. And, the quality of the food is at or above par. We all enjoyed our wickedly late in the evening meals and it gave us just enough pep to head out to Super Nintendo World™ for another round of collecting coins and bashing blocks.

We can recommend hitting this location if you have some hanger while bebopping around Epic Universe. The prices aren’t crazy — especially for theme park food, and you’re getting a solid bang for your buck, maxing out at around just under $20.00 per pizza. We’d revisit this spot, but only after we’ve had a chance to hit up some of the other epic locations at Epic Universe. Oh, and did I mention the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines?
