Having an everyday carry flashlight is important. Nextorch has impressed us here at The Square Reviews. A recent addition to their line, the K30 850 lumen rechargeable penlight has a niche, but doesn’t disappoint. We ran around with this light for some time and this review goes over our experiences.
Throom® Targets are a unique safe alternative to shooting steel. The system uses a self-healing polymer based material to construct the targets. Bullets don’t ricochet, but they go through the material. We got to play with a knock-down plate rack for a good amount of time and here’s our rundown.

Augie Macro takes viewers on a trip across Pennsylvania stopping at sites of geological, historical, or paranormal importance. Much of the film is made up of segments of Macro’s podcast CCwAM. We review this freshman project of Macro’s.
We reviewed the Streamlight ProTac® 2AA-X rechargeable LED flashlight after using it for several months. The light packs a punch for its size. With a maximum lumen of 550, the ProTac delivers. Suitable for occupational settings, the outdoors, emergency purposes, or even everyday carry. Limited lifetime warranty and quality product.
The We Knife Banter 2 pocketknife is a great everyday carry option. The stout and sturdy one-hand operation knife is ambidextrous in design, and has a crossbar lock with a slide button accessible from either side. A sturdy steel pocket clip – also ambidextrous – allows for deep concealment in the pocket.
At the 2025 SHOT Show® we had a chance to talk with Brett from Streamlight. Brett gave us a full rundown of some of the company’s newest offerings as well as discussed some changes to past products. They’ve got some great new everyday carry flashlights and some weapons mounted lights.
We got a chance to review the AET Tactical three-day military travel backpack. We used the bag in a business setting, carrying gear for reporting/media, rather than “high adventure.” The bag got the job done and is an affordable option for those in the market for such a backpack.
The Oath inside the waistband holster by Tulster is a great option for concealed carry. The Kydex holster is designed for strong side carry or appendix. Defender Coffee is a line of coffee that not only has a good message, supports good causes, but they also walk the walk. We review four different dark roasts. While the roasts aren’t as dark as we’re accustomed to, they are flavorful and serious contenders when up against mainstream brands.
